Xiang Yuan and Xu Yanshi plan to prepare a celebration dinner, but the power goes out and they have to settle for instant noodles. Yanshi is worried that Xiang Yuan is being treated poorly. Xiang Yuan and Lao Qing return to Xi'an while Yanshi stays for a talk with Kesheng’s representatives. Before leaving, he also meets with Chen Shan, who apologizes for what happened in the past and shares him Xiang Yuan's childhood story. Xu Yanshi is determined to give Xiang Yuan a better life.
