Profoundly Shallow: A Collection of Uncommon Essays… Commonly So…

A not-so-enchanting anthology of witty, whimsical, and sometimes insightful essays that erratically traverses the comedic landscape. Profoundly Shallow explores the absurdity and minutiae of daily life, social conventions, expectations, annoyances, pseudo-intellectualism, lack of self-awareness, and the universal experience of life’s journey into the awkwardness of the human condition. From the chaotic heroism of being a pizza delivery guy in the 1980s and the questionable title of “best man” at a friend’s fourth wedding, to the imbecilic credence some put into astrology and inviting Jehovah's Witnesses into your house. Sean R. Cabibi’s lightly-dismissive appreciation for the humorous side of life's unpredictability, unreasonableness, and impermanence is a unique approach to observational humor… well, just as unique as everyone else.
