Go Make the World a Safer Place: Essays on Workplace Safety

This is a collection of essays about safety at work. The essays are inspired by questions or comments from clients, colleagues, students, friends, and acquaintances about safety. Some of the questions are specifically about process safety (dealing with the hazards that lead to fires, explosions, or toxic releases in process facilities), and some address safety more generally. Safety professionals, students of industrial safety, process managers and supervisors, and people who have an interest in risk will all be interested in these essays. Some validate and justify conventional approaches, but others challenge such conventions, addressing something that is often overlooked, where awareness can lead to a safer workplace. The essays are short and easily digestible, each concluding with a call to action.
